As a Systems Specialist Level IV you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in Carl Zeiss Limited - IQS. Show case your skills and experience with process enhancement.

Here’s what you’ll do:  

The Systems Specialist Level IV meets all prior service level performance standards. Provides highly advanced service support on multiple machines and their associated accessories, primarily unassisted. Systems Specialist Level IV is relied on and able to analyze and resolve challenging machine and related customer issues. 

  • Maintain all Level III duties and responsibilities.
  • Resolves the most challenging technical services and or difficult customer situations.
  • Service common machine accessories (i.e. tool racks/sensors/tooling/fixtures/RT-Calibration).
  • Understand Laser Map corrective services.
  • Support of other less common accessories/service (i.e. RT-PM adjustment/VI-Scan/SP25).
  • Ability to instruct customer and/or service technician training course (formal and/or field).
  • Initiates customer courtesy calls to follow up on recently performed service.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Lead the installation, configuration, and calibration of CMM equipment in various environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for electromechanical issues associated with CMM systems. Use diagnostic tools to identify and rectify problems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvements in measurement processes, technology, and system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and industry standards. Stay current on relevant CMM technology, software updates, and measurement standards.

Do you qualify?  

  • Have consistently and efficiently performed as a Senior Service Technician function for a minimum of two (2) years, on CMM systems installation, repairs, calibration, upgrade and maintenance.
  • Demonstrates the aptitude to meet requirements of a System Specialist, during the time as a Senior Service Technician.
  • Post Secondary Education in Electronics or Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, clients and stakeholders.
  • 80-100% travel required (100% travel = Monday through Friday)
  • Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Occasional International travel is required
