About this role:

We are seeking a visionary leader with 15+ years of proven success in operations, client services, and integrated project management to join our team as Senior Vice President of Operations for a key automotive client. This role is critical to shaping the future of our operations, driving account-wide efficiency, and delivering transformative solutions for one of our most high-profile clients.


As the SVP, Operations, you will set the operational vision, design scalable systems, and foster strong relationships across executive leadership, clients, and internal teams. You will be accountable for not only overseeing day-to-day operations but also for creating long-term strategies that continue to position the team as a leader in delivering innovative, tech-enabled marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities


  • Define and execute the overarching operational strategy  - aligning with client business objectives and organizational growth goals
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams across operations and project management to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional outcomes
  • Identify, implement, and champion cutting-edge tools, processes, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation) to optimize workflows and ensure scalability
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across the client organization, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their business goals
  • Partner with client leadership to proactively identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency gains, and measurable impact
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure accountability, effectiveness, and continuous operational improvement
  • Drive operational insights that influence both client outcomes and internal organizational success; ownership of financial success
  • Collaborate with executive leadership across creative, production, strategy, and technology teams to deliver seamless, integrated marketing solutions
  • Facilitate alignment between business units, ensuring consistency, communication, and operational unity
  • Mentor senior leaders within the operations function, fostering the next generation of leadership within the organization


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in operations, client services, or project management, with a proven track record of delivering operational excellence in digital advertising, marketing, or creative production.
  • Extensive experience managing complex, global accounts with enterprise clients, particularly within the automotive industry.
  • Expertise in leveraging AI, automation, and other emerging technologies to create scalable operational models.
  • Advanced knowledge of integrated marketing solutions, digital production, and multi-channel campaign management.
  • Demonstrated success in change management, organizational transformation, and the implementation of cross-functional initiatives.
  • A data-driven mindset, with a strong ability to synthesize insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional executive presence, with outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven leadership background with a large team of direct reports


Additional Skillsets Preferred: 

  • Strong understanding of enablement strategies to drive team performance and productivity.
  • Familiarity with advanced project management methodologies and platforms.

What We Offer

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range

$200,000$300,000 CAD
