Build the supply chain at a fast-growing senior care technology company shipping hardware to 24 countries.

The company

We went from a lab in Waterloo to 24 countries in five years. Our sensors detect falls and track sleep, health and wellness, with no cameras, wearables or pendants. Families get peace of mind. Older adults keep their independence. Our CTO, Dr. Yihong Qi, holds 680 patents, and the next few hundred get built here.

Why now

We are scaling. One of the largest deals in our history is in delivery, our consumer product launches in January, and the team doubles over the next year. Every one of those needs sensors built, stocked and shipped on time, and the system that makes that happen doesn't exist yet. This is the moment to bring in the person who builds it.

The role

You own how our hardware gets made, stocked and delivered: what we order, when, where inventory sits, how each node is replenished, how product ships to a care organization or a family, and what happens when it comes back. You run one network across our factories in five countries, our warehouse in Canada and a new 3PL in the US. You work directly with the CCO, engineering and our manufacturing partners. This is a builder role first and an operator role second. You design the system, then you run it.

What you'll own

• Supply that is protected: forecasts, purchase orders, lead times, safety stock and shortage rules, so no deal slips because of stock
• Inventory in the right place: replenishment logic across every node, with working capital in mind
• The operating system: the SOPs, dashboards and scorecards that don't exist today, built by you
• Delivery that works for one unit to a family and a thousand to a partner, including the parcel economics that make consumer shipping pay
• Returns as an asset: intake, diagnosis, repair, refurbish and redeploy, not scrap

What year one looks like

No deal has slipped because of supply. Inventory is forecast, not guessed. Every sensor is visible across every node, returns come back into stock, and cost per unit delivered is down.

• You have personally owned supply decisions end to end, from supplier and purchase order through to customer delivery and returns, not advised on them
• You have built a planning or operating system that didn't exist before you arrived, and can say what it changed
• You have worked across borders with factories and 3PLs, and know what goes wrong before it does
• You are comfortable building with a small team, incomplete data and no big-company infrastructure

The details

• Pay: $90,000 to $140,000 CAD base salary
• This is a new role, created to grow the team, not a backfill
• How we hire: typically an initial interview, a short case, and a final interview in person with our CEO and members of the team. We may adjust this depending on the role
• We leverage AI tools in our hiring process, but prioritize human input and manual review
