Job Description

WHAT'S THE JOB?

As a Supervisor, reporting to the Food Services manager, you will perform a variety of operational and administrative tasks supporting the unit.  The schedule for the role would include day, evening and weekend shifts.

The position will include ....

  • Planning and scheduling staff, ensuring adequate coverage to meet business needs
  • Training staff members in best practices while further developing their skills
  • Cross-trained to work in the Marek Cafe while assisting the other areas of the unit
  • Completing and upholding food safety standards and procedures
  • Responsible for cash management and supporting the Manager in the cash process
  • Performing physical inventories, adequately maintaining the level of stock at the unit
  • Oversee and respond to customer and employee concerns using tact and good judgement

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Available Weekend (Saturday and Sunday required)
  • Previous experience working in a Tim Horton's or another fast paced food service establishment
  • Previous experience working as a Tim Horton Baker
  • Kitchen Experience required
  • 2 years supervision experience
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Cash handling and Cash management required
  • Able to communicate well in written and verbal English
  • Experience with Oracle an asset
