Role Overview

The Supervisor of Creator Marketing supports the Associate Director and Managing Director on client/program strategy while managing and developing a high-performance team. This role is pivotal in executing with excellence and driving measurable impact for brands. The Supervisor oversees a portfolio of clients/brands and serves as the key day-to-day client lead, delivering updates, presentations, and recommendations with credibility.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with the AD/MD to develop, execute, and communicate client strategies.
  • Technology Utilization: Ensure the team uses Salt's tech stack, tools, and processes for speed, accuracy, and impact.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the team to brief creators, delivering engaging, authentic content.
  • Project Management: Maintain detailed workback schedules, ensuring clear ownership and defined outcomes.
  • Time Management: Coordinate timelines and deliverables to meet project objectives and client expectations.
  • Data Deployment: Use data for reporting and storytelling.
  • KPI Development: Create KPI-centred performance snapshots and reports.
  • Coaching: Provide active coaching to junior team members, fostering growth and skill development.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Support AD in facilitating knowledge-sharing across internal teams, clients, and creators.
  • Integration Oversight: Ensure successful integration between creator and media teams.
  • KPI Monitoring: Keep track of client KPIs, sharing info with AD/MD, and making optimization recommendations.
  • Debrief Process: Reflect on closed projects, recommending improvements for future projects.
  • Trend Activation: Identify and leverage emerging platform trends to drive engagement.
  • Client Planning: Manage day-to-day client planning, prioritizing tasks based on objectives and KPIs.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify challenges and opportunities, escalating issues as needed.
  • Agency Support: Support agency projects and new business presentations as required.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience: 5-8 years in influencer marketing with a track record of delivering results.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Hands-On Experience: Influencer discovery, management, boosting, and reporting.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the influencer landscape with established relationships in North America.
  • Client Management: Confidence in managing client relationships effectively.
  • Contract Management: Experience with contracts and legal considerations for influencers; strong understanding of FTC and Ad Standards guidelines.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Campaign Management: Experience managing complex, multi-platform campaigns and collaborating with creators.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems quickly and escalate issues as required.
  • Data Translation: Passion for translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and team development.
  • Operational Excellence: Commitment to driving measurable results.
  • Creativity: Demonstrated creative and innovative thinking, willing to roll up sleeves and get the job done.
