DMCN PC Sub Leader 

 

** A RESUME IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:

  • Respond to Associate issues concerning safety, communication, quality, etc.
  • Respond to and report safety incidents. Perform departmental safety audits
  • Train associates on stations and change points to OMS, and provide feedback
  • Actively participate in defect investigation
  • Gather information on equipment, system operation and quality problems and prepares recommendations for countermeasures
  • Verify completion of department 5S Expectations
  • Complete rework and follow rework procedure
  • Complete daily rotation board schedule
  • Complete off line tasks and follow off line procedures
  • Assist Team Leader by tracking data in a standardized format.
  • Encourage and foster associate engagement through daily communication, coaching and by creating new engagement activities and opportunities
  • Work on-line as needed to support absenteeism and associate relief
  • Participate in DENSO Quality Circle program
  • Learn, follow and coach DENSO policies and procedure
  • Identify kaizen opportunities and help to implement
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned (includes all non-essential or non-major activities)
  • Identify and communicate associate performance issues or concerns to Team Leader

Outbound Department Specific:

  • Ensure PC Outbound Visual Tools are in use and up to date
  • Ensure all Customer Specific Shipping Requirements are met
  • Complete Dock/Shipping Audits as required
  • Confirmation that all EOL process functions are followed as specified
  • Critical Scanning Lockout investigation, Root Cause analysis and Countermeasure implementation

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous leadership experience
  • No current corrective action on file
  • Last radar or PA is meets
  • DJI Certified 
  • Strong Computer Skills (Cigma/Excel/Word)
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Good Time Management Skills
  • Forklift Certified is a must

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (INTERNAL):

  • Kaizen owner
  • Quality Circle participant
  • Offline training certified
  • Completion of current revision of EDGE leadership courses
  • Human-Tech knowledge

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to create positive and effective relationships with Associates
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read, interpret, construct and maintain charts, records and graphs
  • Solid understanding of area, process, tools and equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and methods of root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of risks and hazards in the department
  • Knowledge and understanding of department KPIs
