The student analyst will be a key member of the Oxford Financial Systems team and will play an integral role on our ongoing process, people, and technology improvement initiatives across the Global Finance & Technology team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the delivery of projects by working closely with finance and technology professionals and external vendors

  • Support Data Governance initiatives across the organization, standing up industry best practices for framework in multiple areas

  • Assist in Data Modeling initiatives, such as developing best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models

  • Assist in the preparation of process documentation, and reporting

  • Support project management activities as required (project progress, status, and issues/risk tracking)

  • Participate in ad hoc initiatives and special projects as required

  • Aid the Data Engineers in help maintaining the data warehouse

 Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data & Analytics, or a related field

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or other programming language.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required); Visio is an asset

  • Good to have Azure cloud and ETL knowledge

  • Good to have knowledge on Business Intelligence tools (Power BI)

  • Prior real estate experience and/or previous experience in a project-based environment is considered an asset
