The Marketing Strategic Insights Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Insights taking the lead on planning, measuring, and reporting on CI Financials’ key initiatives across all lines of businesses. This includes supporting Marketing tactics by ensuring proper tagging, tracking, and reporting are in place.
The right candidate must have experience evaluating the performance of various digital tactics against industry standards and historic metrics to provide actionable insights.
This role will require strong understanding of digital channels and data analysis best practices.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Analytics

  • Lead digital analytics initiatives across all business units within CI.
  • Build a roadmap for digital analytics insights evolution and top priorities.
  • Create executive summaries and specialized reports/dashboards for all lines of business.
  • Ability to work with 3rd party vendors to evaluate & enhance reports and dashboards. 
  • Ensure campaign tags are operational and all data is accurate and complete. 
  • Identify gaps in measurements and provide solutions to resolve.

Insights

  • Lead data-driven analysis aimed at connecting digital results with business objectives.
  • Provide analytical recommendations through data analysis to support stakeholder decisions-making (including, but not limited to test and learn strategies to improve key performance metrics).
  • Identify traffic growth and optimization opportunities for content and product-based metrics.
  • Connect results across digital channels to provide a holistic reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a digital analytics role and post-secondary education degree in Business, Digital Strategy, Marketing or Technology preferred.
  • Ability to review data points and draw conclusions that align to business objectives/strategy.
  • Create documents and present analytics findings to partners, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Experience with web analytics using data visualization tools.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
  • Experience with Tableau, Looker Studio and/or Power BI
  • Proficiency with analytical tools like SQL

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge

  • An excellent command of analytics platforms such as Adobe/Google Analytics to implement marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Financial industry including asset and/or wealth management.
  • Digital and social media landscape and relevance to financial services.
  • Experience in concept generation, ideation and brainstorming of marketing campaigns.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills, enjoy working with numbers and analyzing data.
  • A close eye for detail with the ability to see how details fit into the larger picture.
  • Excellent decision-making, judgment, and common sense.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable leading presentations. 

Abilities

  • Experience pulling metrics on large websites with publishing systems.
  • Ability to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations using analytical and quantitative problem-solving.
  • Demonstrates an ability to multi-task and meet a variety of deadlines.
  • Remain professional and positive with all stakeholders in a highly responsive manner.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and in suggesting new and meaningful alternatives to current practices and programs.
  • Embodies the organization’s culture and values

This role follows our in‑office work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,500 to $119,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. In addition, The Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
