What you’ll do
You will be the embedded marketing lead supporting integrated campaign planning and execution across key Sherwood brand priorities. This role goes beyond digital media coordination and will act as a central hub across briefs, shoots, creative development, approvals, launch planning, social execution, and partner management. You’ll also serve as the social media manager for the brand, overseeing day-to-day channel management and ensuring the brand’s social presence is actively maintained across evenings, weekends, launches, and key marketing moments. You’ll work cross-functionally with brand, PR, content, media, legal, eCommerce, external retailers, athletes/agents, creators, and external vendors to deliver high-quality campaigns from concept through launch. Other responsibilities may include:
Lead end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns across key brand and marketing moment initiatives, including planning, timelines, shoot coordination, approvals, launch readiness, and post-launch follow-up
Develop and manage campaign briefs, launch calendars, go-to-market materials, retailer communications, and supporting toolkits to ensure alignment across stakeholders
Create media briefs and partner closely with the CTDI team to review, refine, and approve briefing materials, while overseeing trafficking and QA of all campaign assets to ensure they are accurate, complete, and ready for market
Partner cross-functionally with brand, PR, content, media, legal, eCommerce, creative teams, and external agencies/vendors to move projects forward and resolve issues proactively
Oversee creative development and provide clear, actionable feedback on video, photography, social content, POP, copy, and creator deliverables to ensure brand quality and consistency
Support and coordinate shoots, content capture, and post-production workflows, including live feedback, asset selection, approvals, and delivery timelines
Act as the social media manager for the brand, owning channel planning and execution across campaigns, including calendar development, caption writing, asset setup, posting, community engagement, collaboration management, and active monitoring across evenings, weekends, launches, and key marketing moments
Manage stakeholder approvals across internal and external partners, including athletes, agents, leagues, creators, and legal teams, ensuring projects stay on track despite shifting priorities
Monitor campaign performance, social engagement, and media execution; identify optimization opportunities and recommend pivots when issues or changing business needs arise
Build strong working relationships with agencies, creators, production partners, retailers, and internal teams while ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and accountability
Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, create repeatable processes/templates, and support the development of junior team members where appropriate
What you bring
Working within a fast-paced, high-performing, and highly cross-functional team, we’re looking for someone with strong marketing judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams at once. This person should be equally comfortable driving day-to-day execution and contributing to bigger-picture campaign planning, while confidently managing partners and ensuring a high standard of creative and operational excellence. We are also looking for someone who has:
Post-secondary education or related experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, brand marketing, content, social, or campaign management
Proven experience leading multi-stakeholder marketing initiatives from brief through launch, including managing timelines, approvals, and cross-functional dependencies
Strong creative judgment and experience providing feedback across video, photography, social, copy, and retail/point-of-purchase assets
Experience working with external agencies, creators, production vendors, and internal partners to deliver campaigns and content at a high standard
Strong social media and content execution experience, including channel management, calendar planning, posting workflows, community management, and the ability to support real-time brand activity across evenings, weekends, and campaign launches
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence managing senior stakeholders and external partners
Ability to identify risks, solve problems proactively, and recommend next steps when projects shift or issues arise
Experience using tools and platforms related to campaign planning, social publishing, reporting, or asset/project management is an asset
Experience mentoring, onboarding, or helping guide more junior team members is an asset
Retail, sports, lifestyle, or creator/influencer marketing experience is an asset
A passion for hockey and an understanding of the hockey consumer would be considered a strong asset and would support success in this role

Broadband Salary Range: $64,000 – $106,000 CAD
Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $80,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
