We are seeking a Staff User Experience (UX) Designer to play a critical role in designing and improving the user experience across our SaaS platform. This role focuses on advanced UX research, strong design execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional, user-centered outcomes. You will contribute to key projects, help maintain our design standards, and work to solve complex user challenges.

Responsibilities of a Staff UX Designer:

  • Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis, to uncover actionable insights.
  • Develop personas, journey maps, and other deliverables to guide design decisions.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align user-centered solutions with business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to usability and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 or higher).
  • Create intuitive and visually compelling interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance user engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on designs, incorporating feedback and testing results.
  • Contribute to Mediafly’s design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to standards.
  • Drive high-impact design initiatives that balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives.
  • Advocate for research-driven, user-centered decision-making throughout the organization.
  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • Iterate on designs based on usability testing and user feedback, ensuring designs meet user needs and business goals.
  • Document design decisions and provide clear guidelines for implementation.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field preferred.
  • 5-6+ years of UX design experience, including 2+ years at a senior level.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX design, information architecture, and user research.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Advanced knowledge of usability and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • Proven ability to lead design initiatives for complex SaaS platforms, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile or Lean environments.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, FullStory) to inform design strategies.
  • Working knowledge of CSS/HTML is a plus but not required.
