Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the AI & Agentic Personalization team within AEC. This team is building the next generation of intelligent product experiences—leveraging AI, machine learning, and emerging agentic technologies to proactively assist users across design, construction, and operations workflows.

Our mission is to embed intelligence and personalization directly into Autodesk products—enabling systems that can anticipate user needs, recommend next-best actions, and increasingly act on behalf of users to improve productivity and outcomes. We work across flagship AEC products (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Fusion) to integrate AI-driven capabilities into real-world workflows used by millions of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of programs focused on AI-driven personalization, recommendations, and agentic workflows

  • Drive initiatives that enable systems to predict, recommend, and increasingly automate user actions within AEC products

  • Partner with Product Management, AI/ML, data, and platform teams to bring intelligent capabilities into production environments

  • Ensure responsible, scalable, and high-quality delivery of AI-powered features

  • Apply strong understanding of AEC workflows (design, BIM, construction, operations) to shape AI-driven solutions

  • Ensure AI capabilities align with real-world user intent, workflows, and constraints

  • Advocate for solutions that improve productivity, reduce errors, and accelerate time-to-value for AEC professionals

  • Bridge domain expertise with emerging AI capabilities to create meaningful product experiences

  • Lead Agile program execution across multiple teams delivering AI-enabled features

  • Drive clarity in requirements, prioritization, and execution across complex dependencies

  • Ensure strong SDLC practices across experimentation, iteration, and release of AI capabilities

  • Manage program risks, especially those related to AI performance, trust, and user experience

  • Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and platform teams

  • Drive integration of shared AI capabilities (e.g., recommendation engines, user models, real-time systems) into AEC products

  • Enable consistent adoption of AI and personalization capabilities across multiple product teams

  • Act as a master facilitator, driving alignment across teams and leadership

  • Sprint-level execution and delivery tracking

  • Program-level risks, dependencies, and milestones

  • Executive-level strategy, progress, and impact

  • Translate complex AI/technical concepts into clear business narratives

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or related roles

  • Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional technical programs

  • Strong expertise in SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

  • Experience working on AI/ML, data platforms, or Recommendation systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction)- Familiarity with BIM workflows and Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Fusion)

  • Experience delivering AI-powered product features or agentic systems

  • Understanding of challenges related to AI trust, adoption, and user experience in professional workflows

  • Experience with experimentation, telemetry, or data-driven product development
