ROLE OVERVIEW

As Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner at Encore, you will drive the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy and execution for Encore’s national business.

You will lead full-cycle recruitment for priority and complex roles while overseeing and developing a small but high-impact recruitment team. You will partner closely with Encore business leaders and report into the Senior Director of Talent at SALT XC to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide talent standards, reporting, employer brand, and inclusive hiring practices.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will act as:

  • A trusted advisor to Encore leadership
  • A people leader and coach to your team
  • A recruitment strategist who builds scalable, forward-thinking pipelines
  • A champion of candidate experience and employer brand

Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset, particularly for Quebec-based hiring, but is not a requirement.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across field sales, corporate, and program roles nationally.
  • Own hiring strategy for high-volume, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Partner with Encore leadership to forecast workforce needs aligned to growth plans and client programs.
  • Lead intake sessions to define competencies, success profiles, and assessment approaches.
  • Develop scalable hiring strategies including talent pooling, streamlined assessment processes, and strategic use of external recruitment partners to ensure speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines across key markets and functions.
2. Team Leadership & Capability Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of two recruiters
  • Establish clear performance expectations, service standards, and recruitment KPIs.
  • Create consistency in sourcing strategy, screening quality, candidate communication, and documentation.
  • Support career development and skill-building across the team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and quality of service.
3. Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Encore leaders on market trends, compensation insights, and hiring risks.
  • Partner closely with the Encore and Tracxtion HR teams to ensure alignment across talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee lifecycle processes, and enterprise-wide people initiatives.
  • Balance business urgency with quality and long-term talent planning.
  • Influence leaders toward structured, competency-based interviewing.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations on headcount planning and budget alignment.
  • Serve as the key talent liaison between Encore and SALT’s central Talent function.
4. Recruitment Operations & Analytics
  • Own recruitment reporting: time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health, offer acceptance, and diversity metrics.
  • Identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Optimize use of ATS and recruitment technologies.
  • Drive platform integration and recruitment process optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment between ATS, HRIS, reporting dashboards, and workforce planning tools.
  • Ensure documentation, compliance, and audit readiness across hiring processes.
  • Standardize best practices across programs and regions.
5. Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
  • Ensure an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience from outreach through onboarding.
  • Audit job postings and communications for clarity, tone, and inclusivity.
  • Represent Encore at recruitment events and community partnerships when needed.
  • Maintain the high-energy, relationship-driven approach that has defined Encore’s recruiting success .
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • 5–8+ years of progressive recruitment experience, ideally in field sales, agency, or high-growth environments.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring recruiters.
  • Demonstrated success managing both high-volume and specialized searches.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience building recruitment dashboards and leveraging data for decisions.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment technologies.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally within Canada if required.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $90,000–$115,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, level of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs. This range represents the expected base salary for this role and does not include other elements of Encore’s total rewards program.
