About the role.
The Sr. Manager, SCA Reporting & Governance is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of Sustainable Cost Advantage (SCA) reporting across the organization. This role serves as the central owner of SCA reporting governance, reporting processes, and program standards while providing oversight of reported savings and performance. The position also plays a critical leadership role in the implementation of a new SCA-RCO ideation tool, partnering with regional teams, Finance, and IT to deliver a robust and sustainable solution. Success in this role requires strong financial acumen, analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to build trusted relationships across regions and functions.
What you'll be doing.
  • SCA Reporting & Governance
    • Reporting Cycle: Own end-to-end SCA reporting, managing a quick and recurring turnaround while ensuring accuracy and consistency across regions and business units.
    • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to explain movement in reported savings and maintain consistent messaging across business areas.
    • Oversight Presentations: Prepare precise, presentation-ready materials for the oversight committee, ensuring figures are fully reconciled and defensible before submission.
    • Policy Adherence: Review SCA initiatives on an ongoing basis to confirm they abide by the SCA governance policy, flagging and resolving any gaps with the relevant region or initiative owner.
    • Accuracy Assurance: Act as an independent check on reported savings, proactively identifying and correcting instances of overstatement or understatement before they reach leadership.
    • Standards & Guidebooks: Maintain and periodically update SCA program guidebooks, policies, and reporting standards to ensure a consistent, well-documented framework
    • System Reconciliation: Reconcile SCA savings reported in OneStream against regional submissions and prior systems, resolving variances (e.g., FX movement, TDC/scope exclusions) before they surface in leadership reporting.
    • Initiative Inventory: Maintain the SCA Masterfile of initiatives by region and workstream extracted from OneStream, serving as the source of record for reporting and governance reviews.
  • Performance Tracking & Business Alignment
    • Business Pulse: Maintain an ongoing pulse on how SCA performance maps to broader business and plant performance, surfacing disconnects early.
    • Target Setting: Support the development of year-on-year SCA targets, ensuring they are realistic, ambitious, and aligned to business goals.
    • Leadership Dashboards: Support maintenance of the SLT SCA/SRM dashboard, ensuring leadership has an accurate, current view of performance between formal reporting cycles.
  • SCA-RCO Ideation Tool Implementation
    • Design Ownership: Own the design of the new SCA-RCO ideation tool end-to-end, defining requirements and ensuring the solution meets the reporting and governance needs of the SCA program.
    • Timeline & Delivery: Own the implementation timeline against a tight deadline, driving the program to go-live by January 2027.
    • Parallel Testing: Lead parallel testing of the new tool against the existing system to validate accuracy before cutover.
    • Hypercare: Own the post-launch hyper care period, resolving issues quickly and ensuring a smooth transition for all users.
    • Decommissioning: Manage the decommissioning of the legacy tool once the new system is stable and fully adopted.
    • Cross-Functional Delivery: Work closely with IT and regional stakeholders throughout design, build, testing, and rollout to ensure the tool is fit for purpose and well adopted.
  • Regional Collaboration
    • Regional Reviews: Conduct periodic targeted reviews of regional SCA initiatives to confirm P&L connectivity and the year-over-year sustainability of claimed savings, coordinating with other regional SCA reporting teams to prevent double-counting.
    • Partnership: Build trusted working relationships with regional teams, acting as a collaborative partner rather than a pure auditor, so governance is embraced rather than resisted.
    • Enablement: Provide regions with tools, templates, and guidance needed to self-report accurately, reducing rework and escalations during the reporting cycle.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in reporting, governance, finance operations, financial analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial reporting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with demonstrated ability to analyze and reconcile large data sets.
  • Experience working with reporting, business intelligence, or financial systems; implementation experience is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and challenge reported results when necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across regions and functions.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Experience with OneStream or comparable financial reporting platforms is considered an asset.
  • Strong project management skills, particularly supporting system implementations, testing, and change management initiatives.
