About the role.
The Sr. Manager, Global Indirect Procurement is responsible for leading key indirect procurement categories across the global organization, including areas such as facility services, professional services, and corporate spend. This role develops and executes globally aligned category strategies, partners with cross-functional stakeholders, and drives supplier performance, innovation, and continuous improvement across diverse markets.
This leader will play a critical role in balancing cost optimization with value creation, sustainability, service excellence, and enterprise risk management, while ensuring alignment across regions and business units.
What you'll be doing.
  • Develop and execute globally aligned category strategies across indirect procurement areas (e.g., Ecolab, facility services, professional services, corporate services)
  • Drive value creation through total cost of ownership optimization, service improvements, innovation, and supplier-enabled efficiencies
  • Monitor global market trends, supplier capabilities, and benchmarks to inform long-term category strategies
  • Partner with regional procurement teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into sourcing strategies and execution plans
  • Act as a key procurement partner to functions including Operations, Quality, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Sustainability
  • Lead supplier relationship management for strategic global suppliers, ensuring strong performance via KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement frameworks
  • Drive supplier innovation across regions, including sustainability initiatives and new service delivery models
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract governance, and global standards for ethics and operational integrity
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance, regulatory requirements, and service continuity
  • Align global strategies with regional execution, sharing best practices and leveraging scale across markets

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 7+ years of procurement experience, ideally in indirect categories and/or global environments
  • Experience working with procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa, or Ariba
  • Strong strategic thinking and category management capabilities
  • Proven experience in supplier relationship management (SRM) and performance leadership
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills in a global, matrixed organization
  • Solid financial and analytical skills with the ability to drive data-based decisions
  • Experience collaborating across functions and regions with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to balance cost, risk, and long-term value creation
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

You will be part of the Global Procurement organization, working closely with regional procurement teams and cross-functional partners across multiple geographies. The team operates in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, focused on delivering enterprise-wide value through strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compensation Package : $107,600.00 - $143,500.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
