A Day in the LifeWe are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to support the financial and operational rigor of our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. This role works closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure that demand, supply, and financial plans are aligned. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, operational curiosity, modelling and data-mining skills, and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights that influence decision-making within the monthly IBP cycle.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • IBP Support & Operational Finance
    • Support the monthly IBP cycle (Demand Review, Supply Review, Integrated Reconciliation, Management Business Review) by preparing financial analyses and performance insights.
    • Maintain and improve financial planning templates used across the IBP process.
    • Ensure data consistency across functional inputs (demand, supply, inventory, financials).
    Analytics & Scenario Modeling
    • Build and update models that evaluate operational and financial trade-offs (e.g., service levels, capacity, cost-to-serve, inventory positions).
    • Run sensitivity and scenario analyses to support decision-making during IBP meetings.
    • Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and plan; identify root causes and surface risks/opportunities.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to understand capacity, constraints, and cost drivers.
    • Work with Commercial teams to align financial expectations with demand plans.
    • Prepare materials for IBP and leadership reviews, highlighting insights and actionable recommendations.
    Performance Management & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that connect operational KPIs to financial outcomes.
    • Track key performance indicators across the IBP cycle such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and cost trends.
    Process Improvement & Financial Modelling
    • Identify opportunities to automate recurring analysis and streamline data flows. Consolidate the total business view for the Canada organization.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to IBP and Finance workflows, data structures, processes, and reporting.
    • Support planning system enhancements (e.g., Anaplan, SAP IBP) by providing functional requirements and testing support.

Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Leadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
May manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others' work product .

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree, or;
• Advanced degree.
• Completion of CPA program an asset
JOB EXPERIENCE 
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with a bachelor’s degree, or;
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with an advanced degree.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative. 
• Comfortable and articulate in presenting financial results to a large audience
• Ability to present financial information to non-financial audience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguity

• Advanced Excel required (macros, pivot tables)

• Ability to effectively and efficiently utilize systems/data to produce insightful analysis and drive prudent recommendations.

• Working knowledge of GSR (Global Sales Reporting)
• Working knowledge of Hyperion/Essbase

• Previous Business Partnering support role
• Experience working in a Business Unit
