What you'll be doing.
- Own and deliver McCain's multi-year global cloud and infrastructure transformation, including full data center exit and Azure-first modernization.
- Lead enterprise-scale cloud migration programs in parallel with major initiatives such as SAP S/4HANA, ensuring infrastructure readiness and alignment to application milestones.
- Architect and operationalize a secure, self-service, multi-cloud platform that enables rapid provisioning, DevSecOps automation, and developer productivity.
- Establish and lead modern engineering practices across Infrastructure, including DevSecOps, SRE, observability, and high-availability / disaster recovery design.
- Build and scale AI-enabled infrastructure platforms, including GPU-enabled environments, Kubernetes-based workloads, and AI-specific CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive adoption of GenAI, Agentic AI, and AIOps to enable autonomous operations such as incident triage, root cause analysis, and self-healing infrastructure.
- Translate complex technical architectures and migration progress into clear, compelling narratives for executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
- Lead highly matrixed, global teams and partners across Technology, Security, Finance, Legal, and Manufacturing to remove blockers and deliver outcomes.
What you'll need to be successful.
- 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, and data center engineering, with 5+ years in a senior Director-level or equivalent leadership role managing global teams.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-year cloud migrations and enterprise infrastructure transformations, including data center exit strategies.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, multi-cloud architectures, and the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF); Azure certifications strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success executing an industrialized Azure Migration Factory approach at enterprise scale.
- Strong background in DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Advanced experience designing high-availability, cross-region architectures and comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Expertise in AI platform engineering, including GPU orchestration, containerized workloads (Kubernetes/Docker), LLM/SLM deployment, and prompt engineering.
- Practical experience deploying GenAI, Agentic AI, and AIOps solutions to enable autonomous IT operations.
- Strong financial acumen, including enterprise infrastructure budgeting, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
