Application Development and Implementation

  • Architect and oversee the development of complex software systems.
  • Drive innovation by exploring and integrating advanced technologies that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring deliverables meet high standards

Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems and processes, aligning detailed technical specifications with strategic project goals.
  • Create detailed architecture diagrams that accurately represent system structures and interactions, feeding into the validation plan.
  • Contribute expertise to Good Practice (GxP) assessments and compliance, ensuring that all software systems meet regulatory and quality standards.

Support

  • Serve as the technical expert, guiding teams in diagnosing and resolving high-impact issues.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the support framework.
  • Act as a consultant for advanced problem-solving, leveraging deep technical knowledge to propose innovative solutions to improve system functionality and user experience.

Learning & Development

  • Encourage and support team members’ growth by providing guidance on educational resources and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct learning sessions to enhance team technical skills and provide exposure to advanced technical processes.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and external partners to drive forward technological initiatives.
  • Lead discussions with external vendors to align systems with the company’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree + 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Experience architecting scalable, high-data-volume, web-based applications in AWS
  • In-depth knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker and ability to identify opportunities for enhancements and technological innovation.

Additional Knowledge/Skills

  • Back-end: Datastores, Microservices, Orchestration, Multi-tenant, and APIs
  • Angular (Typescript), Python, Javascript, JSON, Async programming models
  • AWS: Cognito, DynamoDB, RDS PostgreSQL/Aurora, Amplify, S3, EC2
  • Large DICOM, video, image manipulation and processing on client and back-end
  • DevOps: CI/CD, Issue tracking, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS Deployment, Security
  • Experience with relevant 3rd-party tools and libraries
  • Experience developing medical devices

Desirable

  • UX/UI tools and libraries: Figma, PrimeNG, component customization
