What you'll be doing
As a member of the Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (EAML) Training team, you will focus on key enterprise projects and the development and maintenance of existing Enterprise AML/ATF and Sanctions training programs, methodologies and procedures. This role offers an unique opportunity to lead two enterprise projects: the redesign of AML/ATF & Sanctions Mandatory Training Program in collaboration with CIBC Talent Development Team and an Anti-Money Laundering, (AML)/Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) & Sanctions Enterprise Awareness Campaign for the Bank. Both projects will provide the potential to engage with Stakeholders from around EAML globally and the Senior Leadership Team.
In this role, you will exercise considerable latitude in managing projects, with strong attention to detail and adherence to timelines. You will have the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders at all levels leveraging your effective communication skills. You will also help shape and foster a strong compliance culture within the organization by training staff on AML policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements. You will play a pivotal role in building the next generation of compliance professionals while enhancing your own skills and making a meaningful impact across the entire organization.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you’ll succeed

Project management - Utilize your project management skills to lead and support various projects; creating and implementing project plans, ensuring regulatory requirements are addressed, adhering to timelines, obtaining appropriate approvals, maintaining documentation according to procedures and standards.

Business knowledge - Stay current with regulatory and amended anti-money laundering/anti-terrorist financing (AML/ATF) laws, to deliver relevant content in support of building and maintaining a robust AML/ATF learning culture. You will act as a central point of contact and escalation for business partners, CIBC Talent Development and other stakeholders, and provide subject matter expertise in addressing questions, components and requirements for all Enterprise AML learning courses owned by the EAML team.

Relationship management - Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders in the development and implementation of CIBC’s Enterprise AML/ATF and Sanctions Training Program and Framework. Utilizing good judgement, problem solving and critical thinking skills in order to provide sound input and advice.

You can demonstrate experience in AML/ATF standards and regulations. You use MS Office and have a solid knowledge of Word and Excel and are familiar with PowerPoint and SharePoint.

You can demonstrate experience in project/program management and change management. It’s an asset if you have a PMP or related certification.
