What you'll be doing
The Senior Consultant within Enterprise Digital & AI Enablement Delivery will work closely with our Enterprise Digital & AI Enablement Strategy teams, Technology, and SBUs to deliver digital and AI products, services and capabilities. This is a fast paced, changing environment where every day brings something new, and innovative ideas are encouraged. Your contributions will help evolve the customer experience through simplified and intuitive design; putting the customer’s needs first by providing the right tools and solutions to facilitate a positive digital and/or AI experience. They will be team-oriented and capable of partnering and leading cross-functional efforts to deliver on complex strategic digital and/or AI transformation and integration activities in order to drive increased profitability and productivity to automate and digitize our bank to help build the bank of the future. Overall, the Senior Consultant balances the customer need and business needs, while monitoring market trends and keeping a pulse on the competitive landscape.

How you'll succeed

Strategy and Roadmap & Execution: Execute and deliver on the vision and roadmap for digital and AI products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs. Lead a team of Product owners who define, communicate, and deliver on the vision and roadmap for digital and AI products.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, identify opportunities, and advocate for the value of AI-driven solutions. Demonstrate the ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.

Relationship Management: Execute and deliver on digital and AI use cases and platform enhancements to improve functionality and employee and client experience. Work closely with business leaders to understand their challenges and opportunities, integrating their insights into product development. Partner with the Enterprise Analytics and Advanced Analytics & AI teams to leverage data and insights for product innovation. Maintain regular communication with technology and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and support for digital and AI products.
Who You Are

Experience: You can demonstrate 5-7 years of experience in digital transformation, AI implementation, or a related field. Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects.

Collaborative: You establish productive relationships with departments and partners across the organization and externally. You collaborate with senior leadership to execute the digital and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with CIBC’s overall business objectives.

Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align digital and AI initiatives with business goals. You partner with the program manager to unlock business case funding for the program.

Technical Skills: Ability to pick up complex technical concepts easily and proficiency in AI technologies and data analytics. You serve as the internal/external subject matter expert on digital and AI products, services, and capabilities.

Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience using tools like MS Project, JIRA. You deliver on the digital and AI products, services, and capabilities roadmap (on time and on budget).

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. You work with the PM to deliver status updates and raise issues and risks.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams. You curate requirements, user stories, and feedback, prioritizing work on those with maximum value.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions. You ensure each iteration delivers expected results by working closely with the development team to define, design, accept, and adapt features.
