What you'll be doing

The Senior Consultant, Business Systems Analysis is responsible for providing technical expertise for service delivery and operations for the Private Wealth Management Team. The role works on complex issues involving one or more technical areas, mentoring employees and performing tasks of advanced technical depth and breadth. The Senior Consultant, Business Systems Analysis exercises independent judgement to continuously improve the existing program and project management discipline, providing consulting to IT and Business Management on applying technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation. The role devises new methods and procedures using strong analytic and inductive thinking, facilitating the application of new technologies to support existing processes.

How you'll succeed

  • Understanding and documenting requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complicated business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.

  • Solution design - Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.

  • Leading and mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

  • Experience working in Wealth Management is a must .

  • Experience working with any portfolio management system like CGI Wealth 360 or any other platform is a BIG plus .

  • Experience with following portfolio management functionalities like fee and billing , performance reporting , trading , multi sleeves , cash transfers etc is a BIG plus.

  • Experience with enterprise design tools is a must.

  • Experience using JIRA , HP - ALM is a must.

  • You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field, and you’ve spent at least 3 years in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions. It’s an asset if you have experience with Agile methodologies, and Application and/or Architecture Development.
