The Senior Consultant, Business Transformation works with leaders and their teams across the group of companies to drive significant cost savings, capacity gains, accelerated benefits, and/or enhanced client experience.  This is achieved through identification, thorough assessment and implementation of process improvements and leadership of transformational business changes in areas targeted by the business.  

How you will create impact:
  • Interview Senior Leaders to identify, define and help resolve significant business challenges and execute on opportunities for business transformation.
  • Gather and summarize information from leaders across all levels of the organization to understand the potential problem or opportunity impacting the business, including completing in-depth root cause and financial analysis.
  • Document and communicate complex ideas, anticipating potential objections, and working to gain buy-in based on findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate, seek support, and gain agreement for new concepts, ideas, approaches, that may challenge the status quo to increase engagement and adoption.
  • Investigate, research and recommend innovative business solution(s) that are transformative in nature and in line with strategic objectives, including thorough analysis of alternatives, risks, costs and impacts.
  • Identify and document recommended changes and conclusions including a roadmap of deliverables from inception to implementation.
  • Support or lead execution of approved recommendations, bringing together key partners to support the implementation and adoption of changes.

  • You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
  • You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view. 
  • You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.

To join our team:
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • You have 7-10 years of experience in meeting with Senior Leaders to identify, define and resolve business challenges and/or take advantage of opportunities.
  • PROSCI, PMP, Lean Blackbelt, CPA certifications are preferred.
  • Highly skilled and experienced in professional and sensitive Business Communications and executive presentations.
  • Highly skilled and experienced in Change Management and Facilitation, Consultation.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Business Process Management and Operational Excellence Methodologies.
  • Proficiency in English is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority non-francophone clients, groups, teams. Drafting complex English documents and preparing daily reports for anglophone leaders. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Expected salary/hourly range $91,058 - $141,000+

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Sovereign in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
