Role: Business Systems Analyst – Order To Cash
Job Summary
Reporting to the appropriate business or IT leader, the Business Systems Analyst – Order to Cash is a member of the HSS Business Solutions JD Edwards EnterpriseOne team.
The successful candidate will work closely with business users, process owners, management, and IT/IS teams to support and optimize Order-to-Cash processes and related supply chain functions. This role is responsible for system configuration, business process improvements, functional specifications, testing, user documentation, training materials, change leadership, business consulting, and second-level application support.
The position focuses primarily on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Order Management, Sales and Distribution, Transportation Management, Supply Chain Planning, and integrated third-party applications.

Job Responsibilities
• Partner with business users, process owners, management, and IT/IS teams to understand business requirements, operational challenges, and system priorities.
• Provide functional consulting and application support within the Order-to-Cash, Sales and Distribution, Transportation, and Supply Chain functional areas.
• Identify opportunities to apply existing or new system functionality to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and the user experience.
• Facilitate the development of solutions that combine an understanding of business processes, operational challenges, technology options, and process improvement methodologies.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, process documentation, system configurations, and functional specifications.
• Configure and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules related to Sales Order Management, picking, shipping, transportation, and other Order-to-Cash processes.
• Advise stakeholders on solution options, risks, resource requirements, dependencies, and potential impacts on other business processes and system priorities.
• Lead or support system testing, including test planning, test-script development, functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
• Prepare and maintain user manuals, process documentation, functional specifications, training materials, and other system documentation.
• Support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne integrations with third-party systems, including interface definition, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
• Participate in data-conversion, master-data-management, system-transition, acquisition-integration, and full-lifecycle implementation activities.
• Provide second-level support by investigating application issues, identifying root causes, coordinating resolutions, and communicating effectively with affected stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and take the time to understand user feedback and incorporate it into recommendations and solution requirements.
• Provide guidance and leadership to power users while working effectively with Sales, Distribution, Transportation, and Supply Chain leadership.
• Manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently while balancing priorities, resource constraints, and deadlines.
• Support business process re-engineering and continuous-improvement initiatives involving enterprise applications and cross-functional business processes.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least seven years of functional analyst experience supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Order-to-Cash processes.
• Extensive experience with Sales Order Management, picking, shipping, transportation management, and related Sales and Distribution processes.
• At least seven years of experience with process design, functional specifications, system configuration, application support, and troubleshooting within the relevant JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules.
• At least three years of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne data conversion and master data management.
• Experience defining, testing, and troubleshooting data interfaces between JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and third-party applications.
• Experience integrating JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with third-party systems and supporting system transitions involving non-JDE ERP platforms.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, business integrations, and full-lifecycle ERP implementations.
• Experience with project planning, project delivery, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
• Previous experience with business process re-engineering, process improvement, or enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in language that is understandable to business stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into clear, detailed requirements and functional specifications.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing technical documentation, business presentations, and power-user training materials.
• Strong teamwork, consulting, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, operational leaders, technical teams, and end users.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus among stakeholders with differing priorities and requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, evolving environment that requires a consultative approach and solutions incorporating multiple inputs and competing requirements.
