What you'll be doing

As a member of the Hardware/Software & Networks Vendor Governance team, you'll work on a team responsible for vendor governance across multiple LOBs in the Technology Operations organization.  As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting dashboard reporting, telecom related billing analysis, expense management, and vendor governance.

How you'll succeed

Reporting: Prepare expense analysis reports and dashboard reporting for senior leadership.  Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting using Excel, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and other technology platforms.

Procurement: Work with internal business partners and external suppliers to ensure appropriate procurement of technology goods and telecom services. Validate invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness, performing follow-ups with stakeholders and suppliers as required.  Adhere to CIBC guidelines and follow team processes to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
Vendor Governance: Work with our vendors to manage contractual obligations and participate in vendor meetings on a regular basis.
Communication: You are highly skilled at both written and oral communication.  You can effectively articulate issues / recommendations via your analyses.  You are skillful using Microsoft’s suite of products. ​​
