Job Description

We're looking to bring onboard a Sr. Treasury Analyst to join our growing Treasury Team! Under the guidance of our Senior Director of Treasury, this pivotal role will drive our daily cash management operations, meticulously prepare and analyze our weekly cash flow forecasts, and provide strategic counsel on liquidity and capital planning initiatives. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in preparing all treasury-related journal entries for our month-end processes, ensuring our financial operations run seamlessly.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare daily cash position reports and execute cash flow movements to ensure adequate liquidity is available to meet business units’ disbursement requirements.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations related to credit facility including borrowing, repayment and rollover activities.
  • Monitor intercompany balances and work with Accounts Payable team to initiate balance settlement.
  • Perform bank account administration duties such as opening/closing bank accounts, respond to bank KYC requests, review and maintain user access permissions within banking portals and updating authorized signatory lists.
  • Prepare and analyze rolling weekly cash flow forecast for all business units to support with liquidity and capital planning activities.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify actual vs forecast cash variances and summarize results for senior management team.
  • Prepare treasury-related month-end journal entries, including interest accruals, loan borrowing and repayment activities, bank fees and FX gains/losses.
  • Support with administration of Term Loan including confirming accuracy of rate resetting notices, draft payment requisitions to settle interest payments and posting month end journal entries.
  • Oversee day-to-day currency requirements and ensure competitive execution of required FX trades.
  • Support with insurance administration activities including coordinating the issuance of insurance certificates, preparing underwriting materials for annual renewals and maintaining claim summary reports.
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements to enhance treasury processes. 

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in an Operations FinanceTreasury or Corporate Finance role. 
  • University degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • (CPA, CFA or CTP designation preferred). 
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning to identify underlying reasons or facts 
  • Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills to build cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Well-versed in ERP systems, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365 is considered an asset. 
  • Proficient in Excel and modeling skills, and other MS office applications (Power Point, Word)
