As a Sr Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in leading and managing advanced engineering projects within the Aerospace business unit. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise, project management, and strategic direction to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, industry experts, and stakeholders to solve complex challenges and advance the company's mission. 

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Program Manager and you will work out of our Mississauga, ON location on a hybrid work schedule. 

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the company's ability to drive innovation, deliver cutting-edge aerospace solutions, and achieve business objectives.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead new product development projects from concept through qualification and production transition
  • Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and budgets
  • Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams including electrical, software, systems, and mechanical engineering
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support project execution
  • Support technical reviews, product development activities, and project performance reporting
  • Drive risk/opportunity management and support cost estimation activities
Qualifications

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.


YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development (NPD)
  • Experience working with embedded systems, avionics, aerospace electronics, or integrated hardware/software products
  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional engineering projects
  • Willingness to work on commercial and military aerospace programs
