As a Senior Software Engineer (PHP), you’ll work with a team of engineers through challenging development projects. Come join a highly collaborative team of skilled engineers with a passion for quality.
This position is Hybrid in Toronto.
What You’ll Do:
- Optimizing monolithic legacy codebases and newer repositories using PHP(Symfony)
- Work in an agile environment with Product Managers in completing user stories and converting complex business rules/workflows from User Story requirements into bespoke Sales Force type CRM applications
- Maintain development and deployment environments using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with full-stack (Front-end/Back-end) team members with projects
- Cooperate with QA and Application Support teams to triage bugs
- Work with large database schemas that would include adding and updating tables and rows using MySql
- Write Unit tests and Documentation
Required Technical Qualifications:
- 4 years' experience with PHP, SQL, OOP, and Linux
- 2 years' experience with REST API and Symfony/Frameworks
- Experience with Azure/Cloud, System and API Design, and containerized development/deployments
- Experience with using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience with RabbitMQ
- 1 year experience with CosmosDB/NoSQL
