Houseful is a part of RBCx working to make home ownership more accessible so that anyone can experience the financial, social, and emotional haven that home ownership provides. A new fintech category for home ownership, Houseful brings technology, industry expertise, and tech-enabled operations together with the consumer relationships, mortgage offerings, and expansive vision of RBC. Houseful has tools and expert advice for every stage of the journey, helping Canadians feel at home in home ownership. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Oversee a development team to deliver high-quality, secure code and ensure the team functions smoothly as a cohesive unit

Work closely with business units to develop strategies and tactics to reach business objectives

Continuously advocate and build robust products to capitalize on dynamic business opportunities
-
Be thoughtful and advocate for our customers at every opportunity

Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines in partnership with other business units

Mentor and be mentored by everyone around you
-
Work with counterparts to establish and uphold an engineering culture of open feedback and continuous improvement
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
-
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects and features
-
Work experience as a software development manager or as a senior individual contributor
-
Excellent and empathetic English written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and project management skills.
-
Strong practical and theoretical understanding of modern software and infrastructure practices
Nice-to-have:

Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers

Extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces

Strong organizational skills

Strong data fluency
