Team: The Kitchen North America

Role Overview:
As a Social Media Manager, you'll leverage your platform expertise to ensure our brands create engaging content on the right channels at the right moments. You'll monitor online conversations to identify reactive social opportunities and develop proactive social content based on each brand’s seasonality and passion points. Working closely with the Social Media Strategist, you'll help define the strategy, purpose, and tone of our social media presence. This role offers the opportunity to contribute ideas, grow your social strategy skills, and create compelling stories for timeless brands.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Social Strategy: Partner with strategy, media, and creative teams to create briefs and content kick-off documents.
  • Social Playbook Ownership: Collaborate on the creation and refinement of the brand’s social playbook.
  • Social Planning: Develop and maintain content calendars reflecting relevant passion points and cultural moments.
  • Deployment: Manage content upload and trafficking processes for legal-approved social media posts.
  • Community Management: Oversee strategic communications on social channels, managing inbound comments, questions, and risks.
  • Social Insights: Conduct social media audits and competitive reports to keep brands ahead of competitors.
  • Media Integration: Work with media partners to manage paid-media relationships, recommend optimizations, and translate media data into actionable insights.
  • Social Media Expertise: Act as a platform expert, ensuring creatives and strategists understand the evolving social media landscape.
  • Reporting: Collaborate with insights partners to create actionable social media reports.

Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in community management, social strategy, or a creative role.
  • Proven track record managing brands with significant followings, ideally in CPG or lifestyle sectors.
  • University or college diploma in marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with creative teams and strategists, influencing online brand strategy.
  • Proficiency in presentation tools (PowerPoint or Keynote) and experience with social insights tools and social listening.
  • Deep understanding of social culture, memes, and trends.
  • Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social) required.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Passion for food and food marketing.
