This role is responsible for video editing, content creation, and community management, ensuring a strong, authentic presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other relevant channels. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and has a deep understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and brand storytelling.

Fun Stuff You Will Do

Repurpose long-form content (podcasts, interviews, webinars) into engaging micro-content for multiple platforms. Create eye-catching graphics, captions, and post copy that align with the brand’s voice and messaging. Stay on top of content trends and experiment with new formats and styles to drive engagement.
  • Social Media Management - Own the content calendar, ensuring a steady stream of engaging and strategic posts. Post and schedule content across LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms. Track performance analytics, optimize strategies, and adjust based on insights. Work closely with the founder to maintain an authentic and consistent brand presence.
  • Community Engagement & Growth - Actively manage and engage with followers, responding to comments, DMs, and mentions. Spark and participate in relevant industry conversations to expand brand reach. Identify and collaborate with influencers, partners, and key industry voices. Monitor and report on community sentiment and feedback to refine content strategy.

Skills & Requirements

  • Toronto-based candidate with the ability to travel downtown a few times a month for meetings, content shoots, or events.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media content creation, video editing, and community management.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and trends, particularly on LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills for captions, posts, and engagement.
  • Experience in B2B, startup, or founder-driven content marketing is a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan, execute, and analyze content performance.
  • Self-starter with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.

What We Offer

  • Full-time role with a competitive salary.
  • Opportunity to work closely with a fast-growing founder-led brand.
