Job Description:

ICUC is the global leader in Social Media solutions for over 20 years. To date, the ICUC team consists of over 350 people, in over 35 countries, covering 50 languages around the clock. In an environment where the only constant is change, we create common ground between brands and audiences across communities and social media. Fueled by a unique culture built in and around meritocracy, we bring the passion, the know-how and the balance necessary to maintain the charted course we set for ourselves: to be the best, we employ the best. Are you ready to be part of the ICUC team?

Senior Content & Community Manager, Sports

This role is for someone who lives in sports communities.

You know the difference between a subreddit and a Discord server, not because someone explained it to you, but because you've been in both for years. You understand how sports fans talk, what they share, when they're loud, and when they go quiet. You've built or grown communities around things people care deeply about, and you know that authenticity in these spaces is everything.

At ICUC, we manage social and community presence for some of the world's largest brands. In this role, you'll own the day-to-day content and engagement operations for a high-profile sports client across Discord, Reddit, and Telegram. You won't be executing someone else's vision, you'll be the one closest to the audience, shaping how the brand shows up and sounds in spaces where credibility is earned, not assumed.

Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Day-to-day content publishing and community management across Discord, Reddit, and Telegram.

  • Platform-native copywriting that fits each channel's voice and community norms

  • Asset adaptation and quick-turn content production using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar

  • Resize and adapt static assets from Instagram and Reddit for use across community platforms, ensuring all assets meet brand standards, including approved fonts, color usage, logo placement, and safe zone guidelines.

  • Performance tracking and monthly insights with proactive trend and opportunity calls

  • Direct participation in client meetings as a platform and community expert

  • Escalation of emerging issues, risks, and opportunities before they become problem.

Reporting and Insights

  • Track and analyze content performance metrics and apply insights to inform future content decisions.

  • Deliver regular performance updates to internal stakeholders.

  • Identify and share at least one proactive engagement opportunity or trend recommendation per month.

Stakeholder and Team Collaboration

  • Participate in client-facing meetings and contribute recommendations and platform expertise.

  • Collaborate with creative teams on asset development and ensure all content is reviewed before publishing.

  • Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and sports betting content trends; share knowledge with the broader team as needed.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in social media or community management, with real hands-on time on Discord, Reddit, and/or Telegram

  • A genuine sports fan. You follow all the major sports closely, you understand fan culture, and you know how sports communities operate online

  • Comfortable managing a high-volume, multi-platform content cadence without dropping quality

  • A strong writer who can shift from hype to informational to conversational without it sounding like three different people

  • Detail-oriented on brand standards and compliance, especially in regulated content environments

  • Experienced with tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Khoros

  • Self-directed and organized in a remote, async-first environment

  • You are comfortable using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar for quick-turn content creation.

  • You are detail-oriented and brand-aware, with an understanding of visual guidelines and content best practices.

  • You are organized and able to manage multiple deliverables in a collaborative, fast-moving remote environment.

  • A portfolio or examples of past content creation work is considered an asset.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check as part of the pre-employment screening process.

  • The ability to utilize a desktop computer or laptop that meets minimum system requirements, ensuring efficiency in remote work environments.

  • Access to high-speed internet, with a minimum speed of 30 mb/s, to support work activities and online collaboration.

  • Adequate headset/mic and webcam, facilitating clear and effective communication in virtual meetings and presentations.

  • Fluency in English, with the ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset, reflecting the global nature of the role.
