The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role provides an opportunity to support critical data modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms such as Databricks and Azure. This role contributes to ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of revenue-critical systems while enabling modern engineering practices. The position plays a key role in reducing operational risk, improving automation, and supporting long-term cost efficiency. It also offers exposure to enterprise-scale data transformation programs and collaboration with senior technical stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of IT systems and applications
Reduce application disruptions through proactive monitoring and incident management
Identify automation opportunities to enhance system reliability and efficiency
Support migration of applications from legacy platforms to modern cloud environments (e.g., Databricks, Azure)
Collaborate with engineering and data teams to support data modernization initiatives
Contribute to continuous improvement of platform stability and operational processes
Support production systems to ensure availability of revenue-critical applications
Required Qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise IT systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability
Experience working in environments involving system monitoring, incident response, and automation
Exposure to cloud-based platforms and modern data environments (e.g., Databricks, Azure)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting large-scale data transformation or modernization initiatives
Familiarity with Databricks and cloud migration projects
Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps practices
Exposure to financial services or data-intensive environments
Experience contributing to automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Salary range is expected to be between
$73,725.00 CAD - $122,875.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
