About the Role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support and operate our customer identity and enterprise platform services, with a primary focus on Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer with 1–2 years of experience who has hands-on exposure to identity platforms, authentication protocols, and cloud-based services, and is looking to grow deeper in CIAM, reliability engineering, and platform operations.

You will work closely with Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure our identity and integration platforms are secure, stable, and highly available, while contributing to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the day-to-day operations and reliability of CIAM and related enterprise platforms.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve authentication, authorization, and integration issues across environments.

  • Provide operational support for Ping Identity platforms and associated identity services.

  • Assist with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of SSO, MFA, and federation integrations.

  • Support identity and access flows using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).

  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews.

  • Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and improve platform reliability.

  • Contribute to automation, monitoring, and alerting using scripts or existing tooling.

  • Collaborate with application and integration teams supporting enterprise platforms and external services.

  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

  • Follow security and compliance best practices related to identity and access management.

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or production support roles.

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of CIAM or IAM concepts.

  • Hands-on exposure to Ping Identity or similar identity platforms (e.g., Okta, Auth0, Azure AD B2C, ForgeRock).

  • Working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and web-based applications.

  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP/S fundamentals.

  • Experience supporting production systems, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

  • Basic scripting or automation experience using Python, PowerShell, or similar.

  • Working knowledge of Linux fundamentals and system troubleshooting.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving platform and business requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to CIAM, IAM, or security-focused platforms.

  • Familiarity with SRE or DevOps practices such as monitoring, SLIs/SLOs, and on-call support.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

  • Basic understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Terraform).

  • Awareness of security and compliance concepts related to identity and access management.

  • Interest in growing into CIAM engineering, platform reliability, or security engineering roles.

Why Join Us

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale identity and platform services.

  • Opportunity to grow into CIAM, SRE, or security-focused engineering roles.

  • Work alongside experienced architects, DevOps, and security professionals.

  • Strong focus on learning, mentorship, and career development.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
