Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Settlement Analyst to support the delivery of accurate, timely settlement products across a range of energy markets and customer programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and solving operational problems in a fast-paced market environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly settlement statements, shadow invoices, and meter data reports
  • Analyze meter data and market data to ensure settlement accuracy and data integrity
  • Maintain and update settlement tools to reflect market rule and program changes
  • Support the development and improvement of automated settlement processes
  • Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
  • Support special projects related to settlements, reporting, and market data
  • Communicate findings clearly with internal stakeholders and support customer-facing deliverables

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in settlements, billing, market operations, or a related analytical role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills including VBA and macros
  • Experience with Python, including Pandas and NumPy, for data analysis and process support
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in energy markets and settlement operations
