Intermediate ServiceNow ITOM Developer to provide BAU support and deliver independent development across ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, ensuring platform stability, quality, and scalable implementation of enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide BAU support for ITOM, ITAM & SecOps modules and CMDB data health.
  • Triage and resolve incidents/defects, Discovery failures, integration issues, and alert ingestion/routing problems, data reconciliation issues
  • Deliver enhancements with minimal support: build/configure, testing, UAT support, and deployment readiness.
  • Develop and maintain: Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs, automation.
  • Support CMDB quality initiatives (reconciliation, normalization, de-duplication) and ITOM improvements (correlation, enrichment, routing).
  • Follow SDLC, platform standards, security, and change governance; document solutions.
     

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years ServiceNow development experience with ITOM exposure.
  • Strong JavaScript/Glide scripting (server-side) and production support experience.
  • Hands-on experience with at least 2: Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Cloud discovery.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to deliver independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong ServiceNow development capability aligned to platform best practices, including secure coding, maintainability, and configuration-over-customization principles
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSA / CAD / CIS (Discovery/Event Management/Service Mapping/HAM/SecOps)
  • MID Server troubleshooting and Discovery pattern tuning
  • IntegrationHub exposure and platform performance best practices

Salary:

$75,900.00 - $141,900.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
