We are seeking a talented and motivated ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on development experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions that meet dynamic business use cases.
Candidates with Business Analyst experience or a strong understanding of business requirements gathering will be given strong preference, as this role involves close interaction with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. This role will be primarily responsible for:

Designing, developing, and implementation of custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.

Customize/optimize existing ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, SecOps, and others depending on business needs.
-
Collaborate directly with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
-
Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and server-side scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
-
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow configurations or customizations.
-
Create and maintain documentation, including system architecture, high-level solution designs, and detailed low-level configurations for technical implementations.

Engaging with business stakeholders to present new/upgraded functionality in the ServiceNow platform and help them think through business use cases.

Recommending & Implementing changes to existing business processes to improve productivity and effectiveness, simplify end-to end-processes, adopt standardization, and introduce innovative automation solutions.
To succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications:

1-3 years of hands-on development experience in the ServiceNow Platform.
-
Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, and jQuery or other front-end frameworks.
-
Experience with data modeling and relational databases, including designing table relationships and database views.
-
Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integration development within ServiceNow.
-
Strong understanding of core ServiceNow modules like Incident, Change, Problem, Request, CMDB, Software & Hardware asset management.
-
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
-
Familiarity with update sets, code migration, and instance management.
-
Solid understanding of ITIL and Service Management principles.

Experience working directly with business stakeholders and eliciting requirements
Bonus Experience/Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Business Analyst or hybrid Developer/BA role.

Experience with ServiceNow modules such as GRC or SecOps.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Application Developer, or Implementation Specialist certificates for modules within ServiceNow

Experience with both Workflow editor and Flow Designer

Experience with using Workspaces in ServiceNow
