The SEO Digital Marketing Manager will play a critical role in enhancing the online presence of Helios. This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies, improving search engine rankings, driving organic traffic, and optimizing digital content to align with the company's marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and increase brand visibility.
    • Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for SEO initiatives, aligning them with overall business goals.
  • Keyword Research and Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for content optimization.
    • Perform competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • On-Page and Off-Page Optimization:
    • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and images, to improve search engine visibility.
    • Implement and manage link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and search engine rankings.
  • Content Optimization and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and user intent.
    • Provide SEO guidelines and best practices to content creators, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Technical SEO:
    • Work closely with web development teams to ensure technical SEO best practices are integrated into website design and development.
    • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, duplicate content, and site speed optimization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and ROI.
    • Use SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) to track performance and identify trends.
  • Industry Trends and Algorithm Updates:
    • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
    • Adapt and refine SEO strategies based on changes in the digital marketing landscape.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure SEO efforts are aligned with broader marketing campaigns and product launches.
    • Educate and train internal teams on SEO best practices and the importance of SEO in digital marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of experience in SEO and digital marketing, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret and act on SEO performance data.
    • Excellent understanding of search engine algorithms, SEO best practices, and the latest trends in digital marketing.
    • Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz).
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Experience with HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
    • Knowledge of technical SEO principles and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Attributes:
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative SEO strategies.
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for staying current with industry developments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Familiarity with global payment systems and payroll processes.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in languages relevant to key markets.
