About the Role   
                      

We are seeking a Senior Workday Integrations Analyst to join our Workday HR Technology team and support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Workday integrations. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled, functionally exposed and detail-oriented professional to collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and external vendors to deliver reliable and scalable integration solutions that support critical business processes.

As a Senior Workday Integrations Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and internal and external systems while supporting ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, testing, and release management activities.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Workday Integrations Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

Integration Development & Support

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors or Cloud Connectors.
• Support inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and enterprise applications, vendors, and service providers.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, and system issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
• Monitor integration performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with Workday Module Leads to evaluate integration requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Work with external vendors and third-party providers to support implementation and ongoing maintenance activities.

Testing & Enhancements

• Participate in integration testing, system validation, and release activities.
• Develop and execute test plans for new integrations, enhancements, and Workday bi-annual releases.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.

Documentation & Compliance

• Create and maintain integration specifications, technical documentation, support procedures, and data mapping documents.
• Ensure integrations comply with organizational security, privacy, and data governance standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of integration inventories, interfaces, and support processes.

Data Integrity & Reporting

• Support data audits and investigate integration-related data issues.
• Build and maintain Workday custom reports, calculated fields, and integration-related data extracts.
• Assist with mass data loads and data validation activities using EIB and other Workday tools.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Workday Integration experience
• Experience developing and supporting Workday integrations in a complex, unionized environment.
• Experience with: Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, Workday Web Services, Custom Reports and Calculated Fields, Workday Orchestrate.
• Strong HR Business Acumen.
• Working knowledge of: XML, XSLT, JSON, REST APIs, SOAP APIs.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders and end users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Pro Certification in Integrations.
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, or other Workday modules.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as Azure Integration Services and Mulesoft.
• Experience in a unionized or highly regulated environment.
• Knowledge of Canadian Payroll processes and third-party payroll integrations.

Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000

The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
