Job Description
Leo Burnett is looking for a Senior Video Editor. The Senior Video Editor plays a crucial role in the post-production process. They are responsible for editing camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects. Work closely with agency creative teams and producers, they deliver high-quality and impactful video content whether for TV, OLV and/or Social Media. With years of experience, senior editors are expected to mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive editing tasks
- Reviewing scripts to grasp video production needs and recommending essential elements
- Editing raw footage and refining video sequences to effectively convey concepts
- Organizing and overseeing all video and audio assets to maintain a seamless workflow
- Collaborating closely and addressing feedback from the team
- Working with Post Producers to coordinate project timelines, quotes, and schedules
- Providing mentorship to junior editors
Qualifications
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Collaborative and adept at teamwork
- Self-motivated, exceptionally organized, and composed under pressure
- Familiarity with various digital file formats and codecs
- Ability to work flexible hours and meet tight deadlines
- Requires 10+ years of relevant work experience and/or education
