The Position

This is a great role for anybody interested in making an impact and joining a friendly Product and Design team that’s driven by innovation and growth. You will report directly the the Design Manager.

Our ideal candidate is customer-first, is passionate about understanding and engaging with our product niche and executing on the product vision, loves developing elegant solutions to complex enterprise problems, and delivers against tight deadlines.

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Arteria AI, you’ll play an active role in the software development lifecycle of our core product, shaping and executing on our product roadmap, and working closely with our technical and delivery team in the context of our enterprise B2B SaaS platform for digital contracting.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside business partners, product owners, developers and other designers to define, solve, and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

  • Create user scenarios, journey maps, wireframes, Lo-Fi / Hi-Fi designs and prototypes throughout the full cycle of the product development process.

  • Create and facilitating relevant UX workshops for stakeholders and be comfortable presenting ideas.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative design process, including how to contribute, manage and follow a working design system, and integrate brand standards.

  • Contribute to, maintain and help expand the design system and design practices that push the team forward.

  • Solve complex problems and providing clean and thoughtful solutions that balance business and user needs.

  • Thrive in working in a fast-paced environment while being flexible with your designs and comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Display innovative designs that are focused on usability and scalability.

Requirements

We are hiring a Senior UX/UI Designer with the following experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in user experience

  • Expert knowledge of user-centered design methods and processes

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to gather requirements, ideate, propose, and design creative solutions anchored to business use cases.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success)

  • Expertise in Figma & Figjam for design outputs, prototypes, and general collaboration

  • Good knowledge around Powerpoint, Adobe CC, Miro and other design tools to enhance designs and collaboration with other team members

  • Ability to provide and receive design criticism constructively and appreciate its importance within the design process.

  • Persuasive and influential in gaining buy-in from various teams on design solutions through storytelling and context setting.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication in English.

  • B.A./B.S. or certificate in UX Design or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or design-related field or related industry experience or equivalent

  • Authorized to work in Canada and able to work in our Toronto office.
