Senior UX/UI Designer

What does this role do?

• Leads or personally takes on key design efforts that deliver standout design framed up by strong technical skills
• Embraces empathetic design principles by working to gain a deep understanding of user needs, goals, and challenges at the start of any given project
• Applies an expertise of digital design tools including Figma and Adobe Suite
• Keeps up to date on industry trends such as; modern UI toolkits, tokens, and automation to streamline project workflows
• Efficiently approaches design file management – allowing for easy handoff and transition between team and workflow milestones
• Develops strong relationships with all cross-discipline internal teams
• Participates and contribute to brainstorming and workshops with stakeholders across meetings
• Works to timelines, ensuring they are being met with respect to client expectations
• Able to defend strengths of existing concepts while remaining open to input and further exploration
• Fosters an environment of diversity and inclusion on the team

What do you need for this role?

• A portfolio of exceptional and web, and digital product driven work
• 4+ years working in a startup, tech product company, digital agency setting
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and delivering on deadlines
• Exposure working with mid to large-size enterprise clients across multiple industries
• Must be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communications skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Exhibits sound judgment and decisive problem-solving ability
• Ability to work well within a team setting
• Computer proficiency; solid knowledge of design programs including Figma, Sketch, or XD
