TripArc’s goals are simple. To make our network of over 1400 travel entities more profitable, efficient and help them create truly unique travel for their clients.

TripArc is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our growing team. We translate complex user needs and business problems into clear, scalable product experiences that support the evolving travel ecosystem. Acting as the voice of Destination Experts, Travel Advisors, and DMCs (suppliers), you will help design tools that power the business of travel—from lead management and trip creation to booking and post-trip workflows.

This role is ideal for a designer who excels at UX discovery, research, and problem definition, and who can think beyond individual features to design cohesive systems and end-to-end experiences. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape what we build, not just how it looks, grounding solutions in user insights, business goals, and platform constraints.

Responsibilities

As a member of the UX Design team, you will:

  • Identify user needs, explore and prototype solutions, test ideas, and refine designs with data and user feedback.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the market and competitive landscape as part of the discovery process.
  • Apply systems thinking to design scalable, connected experiences across workflows, features, and products, balancing short-term needs with long-term platform evolution.
  • Partner closely with your trifecta (UX, Product, and Engineering) and stakeholders to co-create solutions, influence product direction, and ensure alignment from discovery through delivery.
  • Deliver high-quality visual design across your features, ensuring clarity, consistency, and craftsmanship.
  • Document detailed interaction models and UI specifications.
  • Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to deliver solutions that drive measurable impact.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UX or Product Design, with demonstrated depth in discovery, research, and problem definition.
  • An online portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, including research insights, problem framing, and the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Proven experience designing complex products or systems, ideally in B2B or workflow-heavy platforms.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related discipline).

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Strong UX foundation with deep experience in discovery, research synthesis, and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to design cohesive experiences across multiple touchpoints, workflows, and user roles.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces and defining clarity where none exists.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate problems, insights, and design rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build trust, give and receive feedback, and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  • Experience defining UX success metrics and partnering with Product to track and measure outcomes.
  • AI fluency — practical experience using AI tools to support research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, or design workflows.
  • Working understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and constraints.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience designing for B2B platforms, complex operational tools, or multi-role systems.
  • Prior experience in the travel industry.
