What You'll Do

  • Prepare and present technical presentations to customers of Alphawave product portfolio.
  • Work with the customer's engineers to find the optimal solution for their product
  • Pre-pair and negotiate technical SOWs (Statements of Works)
  • Lead the technical response to customer RFI (Request For Information) and RFQ (Request For Quotes)
  • Build relationships with customers' management and engineering team decision makers
  • Communicate with the marketing team on input received from customers on any future needs they may have that can impact our product roadmap.
  • Attend trade shows with Alphawave IP's sales and marketing team
  • Occasional travel will be required

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 5+years of relevant experience in technical aspects of high speed I/O (SerDes, DDR, PCIe for example) architecture, Signal Integrity, and/or IP integration
  • Domain knowledge of the following interface protocols:
  • PCI Express – Gen2, Gen3, Gen4, Gen5, Gen6, Gen7
  • Ethernet Physical Layer and Fiber Channel applications and standards
  • UCIe Die-to-Die Interfaces
  • Ability to build technical leadership through influence and drive a heterogeneous team toward common goals

It'd Be Amazing If You Had

  • Sales experience
  • SerDes analog or digital design experience
  • SerDes architecture knowledge of equalization (DFE, CLTE, FFE, MLSE)
  • ADC design knowledge
  • Package design experience
  • Signal Integrity and Power Delivery experience
  • General knowledge of different modulations formats (PAM, NRZ) and optical transceivers are highly desirable
  • broad understanding of assembly manufacturing.
