About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team as Senior Specialist, Customer Support. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely taxable benefit processing while serving as the team’s primary resource for issue resolution and operational support. You will provide subject-matter expertise, coaching, and advanced problem-solving to drive service quality and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily team activities by assigning and directing workload, ensuring alignment with Balanced Scorecard goals, and monitoring operational progress.

  • Provide day-to-day coaching, troubleshooting support, and performance feedback to strengthen team capability.

  • Act as the first-line leader for resolving complex or escalated issues related to taxable benefit processing across all client units.

  • Conduct research, analyze root causes, and implement solutions to address escalated matters.

  • Execute daily taxable benefit processing tasks, including running reports, validating data, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Maintain high-quality work output and adherence to client and compliance requirements.

  • Partner with the Manager to support and coordinate key initiatives aimed at improving operations and accuracy within the Taxable Benefit function.

  • Oversee time and attendance tracking for the team and identify performance trends that may require intervention.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma required.

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service, processing, or operations environment.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, and data-entry or reporting tools required.

  • Demonstrated ability to support workload management, issue resolution, and process accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a customer-service mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: College/University degree preferred.

  • Experience within Taxable Benefit functions or similar data-driven, compliance-oriented work preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting continuous improvement or workflow enhancements.

  • Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and recommend process improvements.

Location

Current Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $75,500–$103,800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
