Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for our software applications.
Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate test automation frameworks, tools, and technologies.
Integrate automated tests seamlessly into our existing CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
Analyze existing manual test cases and identify opportunities for automation, converting them into automated scripts.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
Proactively identify and address potential automation bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain documentation for test automation processes, frameworks, and tools.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards within the test automation framework.
Mentor and guide junior team members on test automation principles and practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in test automation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of proven experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
Extensive experience with various test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, etc.).
Proficiency in with Python Programming Language (e.g., Go, Java, JavaScript, C#).
Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Github).
Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
Familiarity with database concepts and SQL. Postgres a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Experience with security testing methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
