You will foster engagement and growth of our social media presence externally, meanwhile acts as subject matter expert and counsels to help foster a culture of effective social media engagement both internally and externally.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Digital Advertising
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

Work with the Social Media Manager on the development of overarching Moneris social media strategy

Community Management of our social channels including but not limited to: content development, issues management, community engagement, monitoring and reporting

Work with internal and external partners to develop engaging and innovative content, including infographics, photography, videos, and other creative devices

Assess emerging social media trends to determine relevance to the company

Needs assessment, measurement and reporting of key social media metrics

Lead, develop, and coach a best-in-class social media/social content team, actively promoting a high-performance culture
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
-
Post-graduate certificate in public relations, communications, journalism, social media, or digital marketing or a related field of study; equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution

5+ years of experience in social media

Familiar with content management, publishing and reporting platforms

Strong understanding of changing social media trends and practices

Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal) ; French proficiency is an asset

Previous experience in the payment industry is considered an asset
