About the role
We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join our expanding team!

What you’ll do here:

Act as Scrum Master for multiple projects.

Guide the team and organization on how to use the best Agile practices and shape the process to serve the team.

Form and chaperon teams to the next level of performance and maturity.

Ensure seamless collaboration and communication among team members.

Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by connecting them with the right people in the right places.

Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.

Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.

Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and be part of the communities of practice for Scrum Masters.

Work closely and manage follow ups with various collaborators: Developers, Data Scientists, Data governance, Security, Product Owners, Architecture, etc.
What you bring to the table:
-
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience leading initiatives within IT.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks.

Mastery of JIRA, Confluence.

Experience with Scrum and Kanban as a team member or other capacity.

Ability and experience leading small to mid sized squads.

Excellent communication, leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
-
A Scrum Master certification (PSM OR CSM) would be preferred.
-
Experience and knowledge in the insurance field would be preferred.
-
Experience and knowledge of AWS, Data Engineering, AI Engineering is a plus.

Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
