About the role
Our growing team is looking for a Scrum Master!
As a Scrum Master with the Infrastructure Services Technology Architect team, you will lead cross-functional squads in delivery of various technology implementation projects, guided by the principles of the Scrum@Scale framework.
Build a collaborative, supportive culture within the squad, encourage and enable squad members to seek out new opportunities to enhance squad interactions and problem solving.
Responsibilities:

Working with various squad member and project/product stakeholder, develop the backlog of stories & tasks to be delivered.

Ensures the tracking and reporting of daily/weekly activities, including squad velocity and sprint/release progress.

Works with other Scrum Masters within the Technology Architecture team to align, priorities and enable the delivery of assigned projects.

Responsible for removing impediments that prevent a squad from completing the work it has negotiated for a given sprint.

Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters and/or other teams to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.

Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.

Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.

Mediates the general conflict of goals between squad members (high technical quality) and product owner (more features).
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:

Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
-
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
-
Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management.

Solid understanding of infrastructure technology implementation and integration principles and practices.
-
Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
-
Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
Education and experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
-
2 to 5 or more years of proven scrum/project delivery experience.
-
Certified Scrum Master.
-
SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SAS) (asset).

Excellent communication skills.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
