We are looking for a smart, energetic reporter who is fully immersed in the news and developments in the technology and AI landscape and has lots of contacts and connections in the industry. Whether it’s a story about how AI is being deployed or how it has changed our lives, you understand the latest trends, where the news is going, and what the impact will be. You’re able to explain this to our audiences on all platforms in an engaging and compelling way.

As a senior reporter, you are prepared to move fast on breaking news, providing updates as they come and pivoting where required. You are confident going live (and at times, unscripted) on video, radio and on digital live story pages. You have excellent presentation skills and can explain things quickly, simply and accurately on the fly. You work well in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

You are expected to pitch original stories. You have strong writing, research, and interviewing skills. You are a confident storyteller and can file on-demand pieces in text, audio and video. You craft these stories with a mobile audience in mind. You know how to engage a younger, diverse audience, and are ready to deliver. You are hungry to file stories.

Driven by curiosity and an open, inclusive mindset, you thrive in a breaking news environment and in working collaboratively and effectively with a team.
