At CI, we see a great place to work as one that is a safe place for everyone to have a voice, where people are empowered to take ownership over meaningful work, where there is an opportunity to grow through stretching themselves, where they can work on innovative products and projects, and where employees are supported and engaged in doing so.

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives across CI Wealth Management. The successful candidate will bring project management discipline, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to drive delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage cross-functional teams, anticipate risks, and ensure project outcomes remain aligned to business priorities, timelines, budgets and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead medium to large-scale business and technology projects from initiation through implementation.

  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and change control.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, decision logs, budgets, milestones, stakeholder reporting and governance documentation.

  • Collaborate with business sponsors, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders across requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.

  • Liaise between project teams and impacted departments to keep activities coordinated and deliverables on track.

  • Support the development of PMO procedures, standards, tools, templates, and delivery practices.

  • Contribute to the Wealth PMO growth and maturity through process improvement, standardization, and disciplined project delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

  • PMP certification or progress toward a project management designation is considered an asset.

  • Proven project management experience in financial services, wealth management, technology, operations, or another complex business environment.

  • Strong knowledge of project management practices, including planning, governance, budgeting, scope management, schedule management, risk and issue management, stakeholder communications, and implementation readiness.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, motivate others, and maintain momentum through ambiguity and change.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, facilitation, and conflict-management skills.

  • Proficiency with project delivery tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery approaches, with the flexibility to apply the right methodology based on project needs.
