Synopsis of the role

As a Project Manager, you will manage the execution of key projects and deliverables across the organization. The  Project Manager is responsible for working with senior management, stakeholders and project teams from various domains to design, implement, and manage a portfolio of projects that can span various lines of businesses and business units. 

What you’ll do

  • Manage the design and execution of a highly complex and strategic portfolio of projects.

  • Work closely with project sponsor(s), cross-functional teams to plan, develop and manage program scope, deliverables, resources requirements, work plans and budgets.

  • Work collaboratively among internal business teams to establish strategically aligned project objectives and integrated project plans.

  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and team leadership by owning initiative KPIs, delivering on them successfully and communicating progress to internal stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems.

  • Navigate through ambiguity with ease, and find clarity for the team.

  • Perform program risk management and identify and implement risk resolution remedies

  • Monitor, communicate and report on project measures of success, plans, status, risks and issues in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and senior management.

  • Accountability for delivering against established business goals

  • Provide guidance to junior project team members

 What experience you need  

  •  University degree required, preferably in business, engineering or science; MBA an asset.

  • Highly driven leader with 5+ years of project management experience, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization to achieve the desired results.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional and remote project teams as well as senior leadership members.

  • 3-5 years of experience working in an Agile environment.

  • 3+ years of experience managing Digital Transformation, Product Innovation and/or Growth Playbook projects or programs. 

What could set you apart

  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP, CAPM, etc.).

  • Experience working on software development products is desired.

  • Experience working on solutions for various industries including Financial Services, Telecommunications and Government.

  • Previously managed projects in the technology space.
